See Me in the Wonder
See Me in the Wonder: A Love Poem
An illustrated book for all ages, which shares a gentle message that the loved ones we've lost will always be a part of our lives.
See Me in the Wonder began as a way to teach our children about having a loved one who has died. Our first daughter passed away when she was three, and although our other two children had never met their sister, I wanted them to know that she will always be a part of our lives. I wanted them to understand why we think of their sister when we see a butterfly, blossoms in the spring, or a beautiful sunrise. What resulted from this is a lovingly crafted picture book, which I believe has the ability to bring comfort and inspiration to readers of all ages.
The simple, rhyming text follows the idea that the loved ones we’ve lost are always with us, and can be found in the beauty that is all around us.
