National LOSS Team Conference

The Tulare County Suicide Prevention Task Force is excited to announce that the 2019 National LOSS (Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors) Team Conference will be taking place in Visalia, CA. This year's conference will be held on October 8 & 9, 2019, at the Visalia Convention Center, with a special training session of Assessing & Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR) offered on October 10 at Fresno Pacific University’s Visalia Campus.  

In partnership with the American Association of Suicidology (AAS) and Tulare County HHSA, the Task Force is pleased to announce that registration for the National LOSS Team Conference is now open.  

Titled “A Community of Hope,” the conference is geared toward suicide loss survivors, clinicians, first responders, active military and veterans, faith-based and non-governmental organizations, educators, family members, and other supporters who seek to learn more about suicide prevention, intervention, postvention, and care and support.
