Behind the Scenes
God is at work behind the scenes,
In ways you don’t yet understand.
Challenging you to keep trusting,
Believing in good things He’s planned.
He knows every need, every longing,
He delights in your joy and your praise.
He frees you from thoughts of tomorrow,
As His promises fill up your days.
When the road is too steep or too lonely,
When you’re feeling weighed down by demands,
Be content, for your Father is watching,
Your life is secure in His hands.
For surely the God of Creation,
Made us also that we might be blessed.
In the hands of the Master Designer,
There is peace, there is hope, there is rest.
For I know the plans I have for you,
declares the Lord.

About the Author
Judy Schwab is an assistant librarian who began writing “seriously” in 1998 after her mother passed away. It was then she began work on Beacon Of Hope, a collection of verses meant to comfort, heal and encourage those who were dealing with grief or those acting as caregivers for loved ones. In 1965 Judy lost a four-anda-half-month-old son to SIDS. Judy’s current project is a line of greeting cards featuring photographs taken by herself and friends, with each card including a passage of scripture and a brief sentiment meant to bring hope and healing. Judy’s poetry and writings have appeared in national magazines such as Ideals and Good Old Days, and she writes a monthly column for a local newspaper. She is the proud mom of four children and six grandchildren.
